How do I claim my listing?

Follow the steps below to claim a listing:

  1. Click here to Register or Login to the site : http://samfordhub.com.au/login/
  2. Then visit the single listing page of a listing to claim.
  3. If the listing currently has no author assigned, a button with the Claim Listing label should be visible similar to below:Click the Claim Listing button.
  4. Enter the details for claiming the listing and press Submit.

If the submission is success, a Claim post with its claim status set to Pending status is created.

How do register and create a new listing?

Then enter all of your business details.

Once submitted, our admins will generally take upto 48 hours to approve a new listing.

How long will it take for my claim to be approved?

Please allow 48 hours for us to approve your claim. If we require further proof of your ownership, we’ll be in touch.

What is SamfordHub.com.au?

Samford Hub is an online directory or portal of local businesses operating in Samford and surrounding areas. It has been created to provide a central spot for the local community and small business owners to keep locals updated with their operation hours and for local residents wishing to support other local businesses during COVID-19 and beyond.

Does it cost anything to list my business?

No. Listing your business is free. We may introduce new paid levels in the future, but it’s too early to say how and what this will look like.

My business is already listed, how did it get here?

Samford Hub have started to populate business listings based on public information from a variety of sources, including those that have added their details to the thread in the Samford Community Facebook Group.

We have contacted as many business owners as possible from the database collated in the Samford Community Facebook Group (thank you Jason McGarry!).

What if my hours of operation aren’t showing or are incorrect?

Please claim your listing and then you will be able to edit your trading hours. It is the responsibility of each business owner to update these.

What businesses, categories and regions will be accepted?

The Samford Hub website is open to businesses from the following areas:

  • Camp Mountain
  • Highvale
  • Wights Mountain
  • Mount Samson

What size should my cover photo be?

Dimensions must be 800 pixels wide x 450 wide high.

IMPORTANT NOTE: File size of your cover image should not be greater than 300kb.

Can I add other images to my profile?

Yes, other images can be added.

These should be:

  • jpegs or pngs
  • maximum file size of 300kb per image

Can I add video to my profile?

Yes, you can add YouTube or Vimeo links to your business listing profile.

How do I get my address to show on the map?

Once logged in to the backend of your business listing. Enter your address in the relevant field. Then you will need to drop the pin marker on the map. Make sure you hit save.

How do I set up my online ordering button? [restaurants, takeaway and cafes]

To enable the red online ordering button on your listing, you need to be logged into the back end of your listing on SamfordHub.com.au.

Once logged in, you must tick the online ordering checkbox.

Then enter your custom online ordering URL from the third party ordering system you have chosen to use.

This third-party system is completely separate to the Samford Hub website, we have included some third-party options on the Hospitality resource page here.

How many categories can my business be in?

Each business can be listed under multiple categories, provided they are all relevant to the products and services that you provide.

Can I change the content and images on my profile?

Yes, once you’ve claimed your profile. You can login via this link <INSERT> and update your profile.

I’ve made changes to my listing but I can’t see them?

It is likely that your internet browser is caching the site. To find out how to clear your browser history click here .

Who is responsible for keeping the information up to date?

It is the individual business owner’s responsibility to keep their listing current with operation hours, address and contact details.

The owners of SamfordHub.com.au are not liable for any incorrect information published on this community portal.

Can I remove my listing?

Yes. If you do not wish to be included on the Samford Hub website, please send an email via the contact form. Only requests received from email addresses matching your business name will be accepted.

Who manages SamfordHub.com.au?

Samford Hub was created by Brisbane Digital Co, a local Clear Mountain business. We have donated our time to establish this website and are offering free 12-month listings to all businesses in the local area.
